The Border Roads Organization (BRO) maintains roads that serve the borders areas of India. It is staffed with a combination of Border Roads Engineering Service officers from the General Reserve Engineer Force (GREF) and officers from the Corps of Engineers of the Indian Army. The organization develops and maintains arterial roads on the borders of India.

BRO Application are invited for filling up the following posts in General Reserve Engineer Force from Indian National Males only

POST NAME :

1.SUPERVISOR STORE                               No of Posts : 1

Pay Band / Scale : Rs. 5200-20200+Grade Pay Rs 2400

(As per 6th CPC)

Age between 18 to 27 years.

Essential Qualification:

(i) Degree from a recognized University or equivalent.

(ii) Possessing certificate in Material Management or Inventory

Control. or Inventory Control or Stores Keeping from a recognized

institution.

2.LABORATORY ASSISTANT                   No of Posts : 6

Pay Band / Scale : Rs. 5200-20200+Grade Pay Rs 2000

(As per 6th CPC)

Age between 18 to 27 years.

Essential Qualification:

(i) 10 + 2 from a recognized Board or equivalent ;

(ii) Laboratory Assistant Certificate issued by Industrial Training

Institute or a recognized Institute.

3.HINDI TYPIST                                     No of Posts : 11

Pay Band / Scale : Rs. 5200-20200+Grade Pay Rs 1900

(As per 6th CPC)

Age between 18 to 27 years.

Essential Qualification:

(i) 10+2 from a recognized Board or equivalent.

(ii) Typing speed of 30 word per minute in Hindi on Computer (30

words per minute correspond to 9000 KDPH on an average of 5 Key

depressions for each word.)

4.VEHICLE MECHANIC                                   No of Posts : 111

Age between 18 to 27 years.

Essential Qualification:

(i) Matriculation from a recognized Board or equivalent ;

(ii) Possessing certificate of Mechanic in Motor

Vehicle/Diesel/Heat Engine from Industrial Training Institute or

equivalent

5.DRIVER MECHANICAL TRANSPORT (ORDINARY GRADE)                                                 No of Posts :612

Essential Qualification:

i) Matriculation from a recognized Board or equivalent ; and

6.OPERATOR EXCAVATING MACHINERY (ORDINARY GRADE)
